At least 55 people have died as a result of heavy rains and landslides that struck areas in Bangladesh over the past two weeks, affecting more than a million people, according to officials today. Since August 1, floods and landslides have resulted in the deaths of 21 individuals in Cox's Bazar, 19 in Chittagong, and 10 in Bandarban.
