A concert was held with support from the Italian Embassy in Lebanon, featuring the Italian Global Orchestra conducted by the world-renowned maestro Paolo Almi. The event included 46 musicians from the Italian Global Orchestra and was organized by the Western Sector Command of UNIFIL, the municipality of Tyre, and the Lebanese-Italian Cultural Committee, under the theme "Bridging Culture and Art between Italy and Lebanon."
The Italian commander of the forces operating under the International Peacekeeping Forces (UNIFIL), General Forguri, stated that "the aim of today's concert is to promote culture and art between Italy and Lebanon. The role of the Italian forces is not limited to security but extends to bridging culture. We participate in developmental and cultural projects in southern Lebanon alongside our contributions to stability and security. We are honored and proud of these contributions to assist the Lebanese people in bridging cultural ties between the two countries, especially in the difficult circumstances Lebanon is facing."
