Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian is holding talks today, Monday, in Tokyo with Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi, according to the Japanese Foreign Ministry. The Iranian minister will subsequently meet with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. It is expected that Japan will once again urge Iran today to stop sending weapons to Russia. There have been no personal meetings at this level between Tehran and Tokyo in Japan since 2019.
