Four sources indicated that there are few signs of an imminent resumption of oil exports from northern Iraq after nearly a month of halted shipments. The sources noted that "the already deteriorating financial situation of the Kurdistan Regional Government is exacerbated by the cessation of oil revenues." They added: "Negotiations regarding SUMO contracts with traders are still ongoing, but the mechanism for settling traders' debts remains unclear."
