The TASS agency reported that "Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Cuba on Wednesday for a working visit as part of his tour of Latin American countries." Lavrov is conducting talks with his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez Parilla in Havana. He will also meet with the President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel. Notably, Cuba is the last stop on Lavrov's Latin American tour, which began last Monday. Prior to this, the Russian Foreign Minister arrived in the Venezuelan capital Caracas for an official visit. Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that "Lavrov is traveling to Latin America from April 17 to 21, during which he will visit Brazil, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba."
