Cavusoglu: Turkey Has Become a Significant Player in Mediation

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu stated that "Turkey has become a significant player in the field of mediation and resolving ongoing disputes, and in recent years has gained the trust of many countries around the world." He emphasized in a speech during his participation in the Antalya Chamber of Industry and Commerce meeting, as part of his electoral campaign, that "the mediation role that Turkey played in the Russia-Ukraine war has been respected and appreciated worldwide." He noted that "in recent years, Turkey has normalized its relations with several countries, including Israel and Egypt." In this context, he pointed out that "the injustice that Israel practices against Palestinians at Al-Aqsa Mosque cannot be accepted in any form." Cavusoglu praised the "performance of the Turkish economy," indicating that "annual per capita income has exceeded $10,000, and annual exports have surpassed $254 billion."
