The authorities in Kyiv indicated today, Wednesday, that "Russia launched nighttime strikes on the city, but the air defense systems shot down all the drones used, and no reports of injuries or damages have been received so far." Air raid sirens rang out for several hours in Kyiv and the surrounding area, as well as most regions of eastern Ukraine.
The Kyiv military administration stated via Telegram that "initial indicators show that all enemy targets were detected and intercepted in the airspace around the capital," noting that "Russia used Iranian-made Shahed drones in the attacks." The number of drones that were shot down remains unknown. This round of strikes is the third that Russia has launched on Kyiv within 6 days.
