Tragic End for Syrian Well Boy

Child Saleh died hours after attempts to rescue him using primitive methods. Rescue teams managed to retrieve his body after 11 hours of continuous work under difficult conditions and descending into the well in which he fell. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the child died after entering a critical health stage due to a lack of oxygen inside the well, which is estimated to be 50 meters deep. It is worth mentioning that 8-year-old Saleh fell into a well in the village of Dehaban, located in Kobani, which has a depth of 120 meters, while he was stuck at a depth of 40-50 meters. Rescuers used primitive means to dig boreholes due to the absence of modern equipment.
