The Egyptian newspaper "Al-Ahram" reported that a relative of Egypt football star and Liverpool player Mohamed Salah filed a complaint regarding the theft of the player's villa in eastern Cairo. The newspaper stated that authorities are continuing their efforts to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
It confirmed that "immediately after receiving the complaint, a security force was dispatched to the location, and upon questioning the informant, he stated that while passing by the villa in the First Settlement area, he noticed one of the villa's windows was open, and upon entering, he found a room ransacked and some items missing."
The authorities have not disclosed the nature of the stolen items from Salah's villa; however, Egyptian media reported that a security official mentioned that "two receivers" were stolen from the villa.
