Amazon confirmed that several services on its cloud division (AWS) experienced outages on Tuesday for customers, indicating that it is working to resolve the issue. According to the website "DownDetector," which tracks disruptions in electronic services, approximately 12,000 users reported problems accessing the services, and the number of affected users may be higher.
The status page for the AWS unit displayed a message stating: "We have identified the root cause as an issue with AWS Lambda, and we are working closely to resolve it." AWS Lambda is a service that allows customers to run computer programs without managing any underlying servers. This service is used by companies such as T-Mobile US, Netflix, and Autodesk.
