Ukrainian Drones Attack Russian Warship

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Wednesday, that the Russian warship Ivan Khurs was subjected to a failed attack by three Ukrainian drone boats in the Black Sea near the Bosporus Strait. The ministry stated that "the warship was protecting the 'TurkStream' and 'Blue Stream' gas pipelines, which transport gas from Russia to Turkey, partially through the Black Sea," noting that the attack failed and the ship "continues to fulfill its tasks." It added that "all enemy boats were destroyed by standard armament fire from the Russian ship at a distance of 140 kilometers northeast of the Bosporus Strait." The Ivan Khurs is a medium reconnaissance ship that was commissioned in 2013.
