The Tunisian News Agency reported today, Saturday, that the Central Bank of Tunisia stated that tourism revenues in the country surged by 60.3% to reach 1.18 billion dinars (389 million dollars) until April 20. The statement added that remittances from workers rose by 7.3% to 2.339 billion dinars compared to 2.093 billion dinars on April 20, 2022. It noted that net foreign currency reserves decreased to 22.1 billion dinars as of April 28, compared to nearly 24.1 billion dinars during the same period in 2022.
