Azerbaijan: Armenian Forces Shell Army Positions in Border Area

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announced that "the Armenian armed forces shelled its positions in the Sadarak region on the border between the two countries." It clarified in a statement on its website: "Units of the Armenian armed forces fired from various light weapons at positions belonging to the Azerbaijani Army." Armenia and Azerbaijan regularly exchange gunfire across their shared border amid the conflict they have been engaged in for three decades over the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
