On Tuesday, social media circulated a video showing a commander from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard forcing a US naval force to speak in Persian. In the video, the commander states, "This is the Persian Gulf, and you must speak to me in Persian." An Iranian Revolutionary Guard patrol boat compelled the US military and other nations to speak Persian while crossing the Persian Gulf. In this video, an Iranian Revolutionary Guard naval commander issues an order to the US Marines, saying, "This is the Persian Gulf, and you must speak in Persian when crossing it."
