According to the Asian News International (ANI), 25 people have died and 8 others have been injured after a fire broke out in a bus in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The agency reported on Saturday that "the bus was carrying 32 passengers and was heading from Yavatmal city to Pune." The state’s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed their sorrow over the incident and stated that they "will support the family of each victim with up to 700,000 Indian Rupees (8,500 USD)."
