Clashes Between the Army and Wanted Individuals in Al-Sharawneh Neighborhood

A force from the army seized a cannabis manufacturing lab during a raid on the homes of wanted individuals in the Al-Sharawneh neighborhood of Baalbek on Tuesday evening. The patrol was subjected to gunfire from military weapons and RPGs during the raid, prompting the troops to return fire at the sources of the gunfire. Security sources denied to "Wadna" the circulating information about any fatalities among the army during the clashes with the wanted individuals in the Al-Sharawneh neighborhood. The same sources confirmed that the army completed its security operation and managed to confiscate a large quantity of drugs along with a cannabis manufacturing machine, in addition to weapons, ammunition, and military equipment. Concurrently with the operation, several wanted individuals fled, and military units in the area are currently pursuing them.
