Bahrain Signs Agreements to Invest $1.3 Billion in the UK

Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa announced on Twitter today, Monday, that the kingdom has signed a memorandum of understanding with the UK regarding strategic investments and cooperation, which will bring investments from the Bahraini private sector to the UK amounting to £1 billion ($1.3 billion). He added that the investments will be made through the Bahrain sovereign wealth fund (Mumtalakat), Investcorp, GFH Financial Group, and the asset management company (Aswaq).
