The American Cygnus spacecraft successfully separated from the International Space Station today, Friday, as announced by NASA. The agency reported: "At 07:22 AM Eastern Daylight Time (14:22 Moscow Time), the Cygnus spacecraft detached from the International Space Station." The vehicle carried approximately 3.7 tons of waste and unnecessary equipment from the station and is headed towards Earth to burn up in the layers of its atmosphere.

It is worth noting that the United States also uses "Dragon" vehicles produced by SpaceX to transport supplies and equipment to the International Space Station.
