The U.S. National Hurricane Center reported on Sunday that Tropical Storm "Emily" has formed about 1,609 kilometers west and northwest of the Cape Verde Islands. The center indicated that "Emily" is carrying maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour but is likely to weaken by Tuesday.
