Bou Habib and Mqdad Discuss Palestinian Situation and Agree to Meet in Damascus

Foreign Minister and Emigrants Abdullah Bou Habib met with his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mqdad on the sidelines of their participation in the emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo, which is being held today to discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. The two ministers consulted on the current situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and agreed to schedule a visit for Minister Bou Habib, leading a delegation to Damascus on October 23, to discuss shared issues, particularly Syrian displacement. The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that Minister Mqdad emphasized during the meeting the importance of "a unified and firm Arab stance to stop the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people."
