Official media reported today, Monday, that a fire that broke out in three petroleum product tanks belonging to the "Aftab" oil refining company in an industrial area of the coastal city of Bandar Abbas, located in southern Iran, has been extinguished. The Islamic Republic News Agency stated that "eight people were injured as a result of the incident," while an investigation into the causes of the fire has begun. The agency released footage of thick black smoke rising from the industrial complex.
