The U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) announced on Friday a new aid package for Ukraine worth $2 billion, stating that it will include vital capabilities in air defense and munitions. The department noted in a statement that "the package includes Hawk air defense systems, 105 and 203 mm artillery shells, Puma drone systems, munitions for a laser-guided missile system, and support for training and maintenance."
