Rescue workers in Greece found the bodies of two Americans in a narrow mountain valley in the west of the country today, Saturday, as authorities seek to determine the cause of death, according to Greek police. A police official indicated that "the couple, a man and a woman (aged 83 and 80), had been missing since January 23 from the Methoni area in the Peloponnese Peninsula, where they had lived for the past few years." Regarding the cause of death, the police official stated that "an investigation is underway to determine whether their deaths were the result of an accident or suicide." After searching for weeks, a police drone spotted their vehicle yesterday, Friday, in a valley below a slope measuring 200 meters down Mount Taygetus.
