Dialogue is the Path to Electing the President of the Republic

Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamiyeh, Minister of Industry George Boucheikian, and Minister of Agriculture Abbas Al-Haj Hassan confirmed during their meeting at the Ministry of Public Works that "dialogue among the Lebanese is the path and means to elect the President of the Republic, which is a pivotal station for regularizing political life and beginning to address the financial and economic crises that are worsening day by day." They pointed out that "the diligent and continuous work within the ministries to meet citizens' needs cannot indefinitely substitute addressing the urgent issues facing the people. The best solution is through swift action to initiate dialogue for the election of a president as soon as possible and to develop a rescue plan to pull the country out of its crises."
