Greek authorities announced today, Monday, that "one person has died due to wildfires in the Poyta area, while firefighting teams continue to combat new fire hotspots." They stated, "An elderly shepherd who ran to his barn to save his livestock was found dead. He may have suffocated from the smoke of the fire."
