Prime Minister Najib Mikati held a ministerial meeting this afternoon, Tuesday, at the Grand Serail, dedicated to discussing airport affairs and ways to enhance public safety measures. It was decided to maintain both summer and winter time; starting from midnight on March 25-26 of the current month, the clocks will be set forward by one hour, in accordance with the commencement of daylight saving time. The meeting was attended by Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamie, Minister of Industry George Bouchikian, Minister of Tourism Walid Nassar, Minister of Interior and Municipalities Judge Bassam Mawlawi, Minister of Environment Nasser Yassin, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Judge Mahmoud Makiyeh, in addition to the Chairman and Director General of Middle East Airlines, Mohammed El Hout, and Head of Airport Security, Brigadier General Fadi Kfouri.
