North Korean Leader Dismisses Top Army General

North Korean news agency reported on Thursday that "North Korean leader Kim Jong Un dismissed the highest-ranking army general, Pak Su Il, during the seventh expanded meeting of the eighth Central Military Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea." Kim called for "conducting exercises to achieve efficiency in operating the latest weapons and equipment while maintaining a constant state of combat readiness." This comes after Kim visited weapons factories, where he demanded the construction of more rocket engines, artillery, and other weapons.
