Ukrainian Army: Able to Supply Troops in Bakhmut

Ukrainian army spokesman Serhiy Cherevatyi stated in an interview with "ICTV" that Ukrainian forces outside the city of Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine are still capable of halting the advance of Russian units, which allows for the delivery of ammunition, food, equipment, and medicine to the troops defending the city. He added that "the army can also evacuate the wounded from the city." The city has suffered significant destruction due to months of ongoing fighting, with Russia conducting repeated attacks and prioritizing the capture of Bakhmut in its strategy to control the industrial Donbas region in eastern Ukraine. Kyiv reported that its forces killed 193 Russians and injured 199 others during the fighting on Friday.
