Termination of Retention and Call-up for Non-Commissioned Officers and Reservists in Syria

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad issued an administrative order today, Monday, to terminate the retention and call-up of non-commissioned officers and reservists, effective from 1-9-2023. This applies to non-commissioned officers and reservists (those retained and summoned to service) who have completed an actual reserve service of six and a half years as of 31-7-2023.
