Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in China today, Tuesday, for a four-day visit. During his fifth visit to Beijing, Abbas will meet with several senior Chinese officials, including President Xi Jinping. The meeting between the Chinese president and his Palestinian counterpart will discuss enhancing bilateral relations and exchanging views on the latest developments in the Palestinian issue, as well as regional and international matters of mutual interest.
Chinese state media reported that "Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang met today with his Palestinian counterpart Riyad al-Maliki in Beijing."
