The mother of Naël Marzouki, a 17-year-old Algerian boy who was killed by the French police for failing to heed orders to stop, has called for peaceful demonstrations tomorrow, Thursday, to protest her son's death. The teenager was shot and killed yesterday evening while driving a delivery vehicle, as he did not comply with a roadblock. After being threatened by a police officer who said, "I will blow your brains out," the boy did not pay attention while starting to drive off, but the officer shot directly at him, resulting in his death.
