Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, announced that the launch test of the "Starship Super" rocket will likely take place later this month, rather than this week. SpaceX considers the "Starship" rocket to be a fully reusable transport system designed to carry astronauts and cargo to Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars, and beyond. The rocket is scheduled to launch from the company's Starbase facility in Boca Chica, Texas, marking the company's first launch of a fully assembled Starship system, which stands at 120 meters tall. Musk tweeted that "the Starship launch is aimed for around the end of the third week of April," following a day after he announced that the company was ready for launch and "awaiting regulatory approval."
