The statement read: "After previously suffering from hamstring issues, we expect that the surgery will provide a definitive solution." The club added that as a result, the left-back will not be available for Tottenham's upcoming pre-season tour, during which they will face West Ham United, Leicester City, and Roma. Tottenham did not specify the expected timeline for the 23-year-old player's return to training.
