Axios: Egyptian Mediation for Ceasefire Starting at 10 PM

The news website "Axios" reported that a new proposal was presented today by the Egyptian side to both Israel and the Palestinian factions. "Reuters" confirmed through Palestinian officials that a ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian factions and Israel was mediated by Egypt, and it is expected to come into effect at 10 PM tonight. The proposal, which was accepted by the Israeli side according to the website, includes a mutual ceasefire in Gaza, a halt to civilian killings, stopping the bombardment of their homes, and the recovery of the body of Khader Adnan. For its part, the Islamic Jihad movement confirmed its agreement to the new Egyptian mediation proposal. Israeli channel "12" noted that there was a heated discussion between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who supports the continuation of operations, and the heads of the Shin Bet and the Israel Defense Forces, who favor halting the operations.
