After Military Helicopter Crash, Tunisian Navy Recovers Two Bodies

The Tunisian Ministry of Defense announced today, Thursday, that naval forces have recovered four bodies of military personnel from the crew of a helicopter after it crashed into the sea. Earlier today, the Ministry of Defense stated that it had "lost contact with a helicopter carrying a four-member crew, which was conducting a nighttime flight mission in the Cape Serrat area, in Bizerte, on Wednesday evening." During a meeting with Defense Minister Imed Memich, President Kais Saied called for efforts to modernize military equipment, adding that "such incidents occur in Tunisia due to the deterioration of several assets."
