A young Syrian girl documented the moment her brother lost his life while trying to showcase his swimming skills to post on "TikTok" after he jumped into a water canal in Mardin, Southern Turkey.
According to Turkish media, the 20-year-old Syrian young man, Loyan Al-Husseini, died after hitting his head on the bottom of the water canal while filming a video for "TikTok."
These moments were captured on "TikTok" after the young man's 8-year-old sister recorded them on his phone. Noticing that her brother could not move, she quickly informed those around her about the incident to call for help.
The video shows the young Syrian jumping into a water canal used for irrigating lands in rural areas, and he was unable to move as his body floated in the water inside the canal.
When medical teams arrived, his body was recovered after confirming his death.
