The European Union's foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, announced that "the EU military mission will train more than 11,000 Ukrainian soldiers by the end of this month and 30,000 by the end of the year," according to "Russia Today." Borrell stated after an informal meeting of defense ministers from member states that he "proposed a three-step plan, estimated at two billion euros." He noted that "15 European companies are currently capable of producing 155mm shells supplied to Ukraine." He expressed hope that "his initiative will be approved at the upcoming joint meeting of EU defense and foreign ministers on March 20 in Brussels."
