The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi will meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, today Saturday. The ministry stated in a press release that Hayashi will reaffirm Japan's steadfast support for Ukraine during his talks with Kuleba and will discuss Japan's participation in the international community's efforts to end the Russian invasion of Ukraine as soon as possible. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida made a surprise visit to Kyiv in March to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
