Oil Prices Rise Amid Supply Concerns

Oil prices increased on Tuesday for the second consecutive session, as fears of political instability in Russia overshadowed concerns about global demand. Brent crude futures rose six cents to $74.24 a barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures increased ten cents to $69.47 a barrel. On Monday, Brent rose by 0.5 percent, and West Texas Intermediate gained 0.3 percent. This challenge has raised doubts about President Vladimir Putin's grip on power and sparked concerns about potential disruptions to Russian oil supplies.
