The Ministry of Energy and Water has officially informed the concerned parties through a formal letter about the cancellation of the purchase contract signed with Coral Energy DMCC regarding the purchase of a fuel oil shipment, due to the inability to open the necessary credit to cover the shipment's cost. It warned that the stock situation could reach a critical level by October, potentially leading to significant and widespread electricity outages. It is noted that the tanker (ARDMORE) left Lebanese territorial waters on September 1, without any penalties or high costs incurred by the state.
