Kidnapping Crimes and Thefts: Army Arrests Gang in Baalbek

The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance reported that on 20/8/2023, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested two citizens, (A.A.) and (H.H.), for forming a gang involved in car theft and trafficking. They were also implicated in kidnapping for ransom, robbery, drug trafficking, and use of firearms. A military weapon and a device used for stealing cars were seized from them. The confiscated items have been handed over, and an investigation with the detainees has commenced under judicial supervision.
