The number of Palestinian journalists killed due to Israeli shelling in the Gaza Strip since the onset of the war between Israel and Hamas has risen to 16, according to the Journalists' Syndicate. The syndicate, based in Ramallah in the West Bank, stated in a statement that "16 journalists have been martyred, and more than 20 others have been injured, since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza" on October 7.
