Drone Detected Over Indian Prime Minister's Residence

Indian officials reported that a drone was spotted over the official residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi early on Monday morning. According to the Indian Express, the Special Protection Group (SPG), responsible for the Prime Minister's security, alerted Delhi police about the drone sighting in a no-fly zone. Delhi police stated, "We received information about a drone flying in the no-fly zone over the Prime Minister's residence. The SPG contacted the police at 5:30 AM." A Delhi police officer noted that "despite searches in the surrounding areas, no such object was found," confirming that "the police and other security agencies did not discover anything suspicious." Delhi Police Deputy Commissioner Pranav Tayal mentioned that air traffic control was also contacted, but they failed to identify any flying object near the Prime Minister's residence.
