Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated today that "the Chinese Vice Premier will visit Russia from Sunday to Tuesday to attend an economic forum." She added in a statement: "At the invitation of the Government of the Russian Federation, Zhang Guoqing, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Vice Premier, will head to Vladivostok, Russia, to participate in the Eastern Economic Forum from September 10 to 12."
