The Italian Football Federation announced today, Friday, that "Federico Chiesa and Lorenzo Pellegrini will be absent from Italy's squad for the matches against North Macedonia and Ukraine in the Euro 2024 qualifiers due to injury." The Italian federation stated in a release: "Juventus forward Chiesa and Roma midfielder Pellegrini underwent medical examinations this morning and will not be available for the matches against North Macedonia and Ukraine."
