The Hebrew website "i24" revealed today, Friday, that Saudi Arabia prevented Israeli diplomats from entering an event attended by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the French capital. The report published by the site noted that diplomats from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs discovered upon their arrival on Wednesday at the welcoming event organized by bin Salman as part of the kingdom's bid to host the Expo 2030 conference, that their names had been removed from the guest list at the last moment.
The report indicated that Saudi Arabia's decision might serve as a "reaction from Riyadh to the Israeli government's policy regarding the Palestinians and the escalation in the West Bank" this week. Additionally, it stated that the Saudis "remain extremely sensitive to any normalization gesture with Israel, even if it is symbolic and minor."
