Al-Bizri: Developing the Port of Sidon is an Important Economic and Commercial Step

Deputy Abdul Rahman Al-Bizri confirmed that "the achievements made in diversifying and expanding the roles and tasks of the Port of Sidon through the opening of an economic and agricultural chamber will allow for the development of this port, restoring part of Sidon's role in maritime trade and its economic movement that has been absent for years." He added, "The efforts exerted by parliamentary references, political forces, and concerned ministers in the current government facilitated the completion of this achievement swiftly and smoothly." Al-Bizri thanked the cooperation of the ministers of Public Works, Economy, and Agriculture, adding that "what is now needed is to develop this vital economic facility to become ready for other roles such as receiving containers, contributing to oil services, and developing the industrial and free economic zone within it, making Sidon a true commercial capital and securing new job opportunities for its residents."
