The German airline Lufthansa has suspended its flights to Beirut until October 16 "due to the current situation in the Middle East," a spokesperson informed AFP. The spokesperson confirmed information reported by two passengers after they were unable to board a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Beirut.
