Title: Technical Issues End Free Practice Early at the Canadian Grand Prix

The start of the Canadian Grand Prix, part of the Formula 1 World Championship, was not successful on Friday, as technical issues led to the early termination of the first free practice session just five minutes after it began. Max Verstappen, the overall leader and last year's race winner, was the first to take to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, quickly taking the lead. However, less than five minutes into the session, Pierre Gasly, the Alpine driver, caused a red flag when his car stopped on the side of the track due to a clutch issue, halting the practice. Despite rapid removal of Gasly's car, the session did not resume due to technical problems related to race control and the cameras covering the circuit. The FIA announced the postponement of the session's resumption due to issues with the local infrastructure of surveillance cameras around the circuit, stating: "Local organizers are working to resolve the issue, and until then, we cannot resume (the practice) for safety reasons."
