Argentinian football player Lionel Messi scored two goals in the first half and assisted on another in the second half, leading Inter Miami to a dominant 4-0 victory over Atlanta United. After coming on as a substitute and scoring the winning goal in his debut with Inter Miami on Friday, the team’s new captain wasted no time in making an impact during his first start with the American league club. Messi scored the second goal in the 22nd minute after a pass from his teammate Robert Taylor, who also scored two goals himself. With this victory, Inter Miami secured the top spot in their group in the tournament.
